Поточна глобальна пандемія COVID-19 вплинула на всі сфери життя у всьому світі. Для зменшення соціально-економічних наслідків пандемії Україна потребує розумних рішення, колаборацій а модернізацій продуктів та послуг. Хакатони є справді хорошим інструментом для реалізації цих рішень та покращення життя загалом.
ПРО ЩО ХАКАТОН ВІД ГАРАЖ 48?
Хакатон - це інтенсив, що проходить у вихідні дні, щоб розробити нові веб- та мобільні додатки або втілити стартап ідей в реальність. Подія відкрита так як і для студентів, так і для уже працюючих спеціалістів. Ми розпочинаємо хакатон у четвер задля того, щоб твоя команда змогла зробити робочий прототип до неділі щоб успішно виступити перед журі. Протягом усього заходу всі команди будуть працювати з досвідченими ментора з міжнародним досвідом.

Онлайн-хакатони від Garage48 настільки ж інтенсивний, як і традиційні офлайнові заходи - практичне менторство експертів, чекпоінти, репетиції, напружена робота в команді, креативність та винахідливість будуть ключовими елементами у створенні робочих прототипів лише за 72 години. Garage48 надає усі необхідні інструменти для успішного проведення хакатону в онлайн форматі. Усі зареєстровані учасники отримають усю необхідну інформацію для підготовки та повноцінної участі.

👥 ФОРМУВАННЯ КОМАНДИ
На хакатон приймаються готові команди з ідеями. Щоб підтримати візіонерів у пошуку членів команди та окремих людей, які теж шукають команду до якої долучитись, ми проведемо заходи, де зможеш ознайомитись із представленими ідеями, як тільки зареєструєшся та потрапиш на робочу платформу хакатону.
Власне на хакатон ми беремо команди що складаються щонайменше із 4-ох людей, які мають необхідний досвід для створення прототипу свого продукту чи послуги під час хакатону. Сформовані команди мінімум з 4-х членів переходять до онлайн-хакатону.
Ось як це працює:
1. реєструєшся як індивідуальний учасник чи команда, з ідеєю чи без неї ➡

Since we started Garage48 hackathons in Ukraine 2012, we have witnessed the inspiration, inner drive and talent of Ukrainian people to come up with creative new solutions, work hard & relentlessly in achieving their set goals and make the jumps into the unknown world of becoming an entrepreneur to improve the life of themselves and others around them. We continue to stay empowered by our participants, who are driving the technological and entrepreneurial development of Ukraine constantly to the next level. 💛
The ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic has affected all areas of life worldwide. Clever new solutions, products & services re-design and collaboration is needed to relieve the socio-economic effects that the pandemic has brought along in Ukraine. Hackathons can be a really good tool for making those solutions & products happen and kickstart strong collaborations with a shared passion of solving these problems and facing the changed world better equipped.
🔴 WHAT IS A GARAGE48 HACKATHON ALL ABOUT?
Hackathon is a weekend-long intensive development event to work out new web and mobile applications or novel services and products and bring new startups into life. The event is open for both university students and already working specialists. We start on Thursday with only one goal in mind - to have a working prototype by Sunday to present to the jury. All the teams will be supported by internationally experienced mentors throughout the event.
💻 DOES A HACKATHON WORK IN ONLINE?
YES! Very much so. Garage48 online hackathon is as intense as a physical “getting together” one - hands-on expert mentoring, checkpoints, demo drills, intense teamwork, creativity, and resourcefulness will be the key parts in building working prototypes in just 72 hours.
Garage48 has provided a technical model and all necessary tools for the hackathon to succeed in an online environment - all registered participants will get all the info needed to prepare and take fully part.

We are welcoming students, working specialists, visionaries and enthusiastic individuals from eastern Ukraine in the fields of
- software development and design
- marketing
- business development
- project management
and certain field experts, students or enthusiasts (eg transportation, medicine, social wellbeing, tourism, etc) with a vision and inner drive to create new solutions and novel products and services and use this hackathon as an opportunity to develop the first version of your idea into reality!
Just to be clear, this event is for everyone! We expect BOTH GENDERS with DIVERSE SKILL SETS! Synergy and diversity are vital for innovation and growth, which is why you are all invited to take part in this hackathon!

Ready-made teams with ideas are accepted to the hackathon. To support visionaries finding team members and individuals finding an idea to work with, we will hold matchmaking events and you will be able to get acquainted with presented ideas once you register and get onboarded to the hackathon workspace.
We are accepting at least four-member teams that have the necessary expertise to build the prototype of their product or service during the hackathon.
This is how it works:
1. register as an individual or a team, with or without an idea ➡
2. get access to the hackathon workspace ➡
3. see presented ideas and talented individuals, get the conversations going ➡
4. matchmaking events ➡
6. matching and forming teams.

Online matchmaking events will take place on March 22nd and March 29th. All registered ideas and individuals are invited for a facilitated matchmaking session to pitch and present their ideas to find team members. Formed teams of minimally 4 members move on to the online hackathon.
