We are excited to say that Garage48 will be back in Moldova (again!) for the third edition of the Empowering Youth hackathon. This time we will be going on a Hackathon Retreat, which will be held from the 1st to the 3rd of October 2021.

Garage48 and Yep! Moldova invite all young inspiring people to join us there!

Hackathons are a place to test and build your ideas in a short period of time, to make your long thought about ideas into actual prototypes. Where better to concentrate on your idea than away from all the noise and distractions of the city? This is your chance to take your first steps on your entrepreneurial journey, make new connections and learn more about the world of startups. Helping you take your first steps are both local and international mentors, who will guide you step-by-step.

    🚀 How does it work?

    1. Think of an idea you would like to tackle and share it with us. Start creating a team around your idea. We will also help you gather people around your idea.

    2. At the beginning of the hackathon we will form teams around the best ideas - please don’t worry if you don’t have an idea, you are more than welcome to participate in the hackathon by joining teams to work together!

    3. During the 48 hours, you will have exciting, hardworking, and brainstorming time working on the idea which will turn into a working prototype by the end of the hackathon. We will also enjoy the Moldovian countryside and built a sense of community through different activities.

    4. To make it real, there will be hackathon-hardened local and international mentors ready to share their expertise and help you throughout the whole event.

    5. All the finished prototypes will be evaluated and the best teams will get rewarding prizes that will give you the tools to develop their ideas even further!

    1. Teams participating in the hackathon are announced September 27.

    2. Garage48 Empowering Youth vol 3: Hackathon Retreat! October 1-3.

    🧐 For whom?

For the hackathon, we are welcoming all young people - regardless of age, gender or nationality. If you have the spark inside and passion to make the world better, please join us for the Empowering Youth hackathon!

The TOP 8 teams will be accepted to the hackathon retreat.
