MetricsCat journey from Garage48 to Startup Wise Guys

MetricsCat is a service that collects data from app markets and provides developers with in-depth app review analytics. Starting off from Garage48 event in Minsk, now the team has joined the Startup Wise Guys accelerator and are looking for early adopters, would you be among them?

MetricsCat is a service that collects data from app markets and provides developers with in-depth app review analytics, app review analysis and trends, customer and sentiment analysis, suggestions for app store optimization.

The MetricsCat story goes back to the time when Eugene and Tatyana co-founders of MetricsCat decided to participate Garage48 for the first time 2 years ago. The guys joined the event with quite a preparation: assembled team, clear goals about what they were going to develop and why, and even a bought domain. Participation in Garage48 was a great opportunity to start working as a team and find out much more about every team member.

After winning the Garage48 Minsk event we went to Tallinn for the first time. Then the real work started to turn MetricsCat into a startup: meetings with Rovio, Supercell, Microsoft, skype calls with Twitter and booking.com, which we got thanks to intros from Helsinki Ventures. We started doing customer development to find out the real problems of our potential customers and improve our service accordingly. In May 2014 we participated in Latitude59 conference in Tallinn, where we met the guys from Startup Wise Guys :) and in early June we applied to the Startup Wise Guys accelerator. After several rounds of interviews we got accepted.

What is life in an accelerator like? It offers you free work space at a coworking space in the heart of Tallinn, where you meet from 5 to 20 or even more new mentors daily. They are investors, businessmen, successful startup founders and other great and experienced guys. All day long you pitch them your startup idea they give, you advice, feedback and what’s the most important they are open to share their business contacts with you. Then you get back to your product making a good use of the advice and pitch it again go pitching to new mentors the next day. It’s a great opportunity to meet a lot of new guys and establish useful business contacts with people from all over the world.

We are looking for early adopters to provide them with an individual support - feel free to contact us.

There is more! Another project from Belarus that one of MetricsCat co-founders initiated by firstly pitching it on a stage at Garage48 event is also participating in the current SWG batch. ChangeAgain is a simple A/B testing tool with deep Google Analytics integration. Though it’s very young product many of the mentors have predicted that it will have a bright future. The ChangeAgain team is currently collecting market data and doing customer development interviews.

Do you have experience in A/B testing? Feel free to drop a line to ChangeAgain team!  Your insights and suggestions will be much appreciated!

The MetricsCat is sending you greetings! Be active, participate, meet new people and talk with your potential customers!
