Making students’ life easier - that is the promise from the winner of Garage48 Georgia 2015!

The hackathon weekend in Georgia brought together a real powerhouse of determination. There were 11 teams working on their idea day and night to deliver a working prototype by Sunday to present to the jury. The mentors did their best to support all the teams to survive this unforgiving time frame, thanks to their help and the dedication of teams 9 teams demod their product on Sunday.

Garage48 Georgia 2015 was an event full of good emotions and realization how many motivated people work in Georgia building and supporting the local startup ecosystem. We ran a panel where 6 different co-working and innovation spaces in Tbilisi were introduced by the people who run them. They provided us with amazing mentors to work with the teams and also with prizes to support the teams with work space and useful contacts. We are humbled here at Garage48 to be part of this local community now and want to contribute with our international know-how, bringing over mentors and helping to build this network further. We cannot wait to be back here for next Garage48 events!

We want to thank all our sponsors and supporters, especially the Estonian Development Fund for making this event possible and the Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency for all the local support.

The excitement was high at the final event - the winners were announced and all the hard work payed off with great prizes and an opportunity for ALL THE TEAMS to use GITA’s new technopark space for 1 year!

So without further ado, here are the winners of Garage48 hackathon Georgia 2015:
