New services launched on 1st Garage48 in Tallinn

First ever Estonian 48hour startup boot-camp event is finished by now. 40 ideas were pitched, out of which people formed 16 teams and started to build the services late Friday evening. Today, 48 hours lates we had the same 16 teams on stage to live-demo their working prototypes and services.
- Garage48 winner: Kratid.com | Facebook | Twitter - interactive virtual pet service, where you can design and take care of your online pet. BUT, you can also order the "real pet" to be mailed to yourself or your kids. The team built a great website and already got over 30 orders. Great work guys!

The service was live already in 6 hours and generated its first international revenue within 12 hours.

Online auction is already started, make your bid.

- Subtuutor.eu | Twitter - a passive tool for learning new languages by watching movies and reading subtitles. Subtuutor enables you to stop the movie and instantly find a meaning of the unknown words. Works on computers and touch screen hand-held devices like iPhone, iPod Touch etc.

- Off The Couch (Go2Sport) - Facebook application - fun tool for friends to get of the couch and do some sports, share the results with your friends over the Facebook. Most active friends get virtual "medals" to motivate others to follow.

- MyShopping - personal shopping and special offers website, that would replace existing "loyalty cards" with electronic ID and systems. The system is still under construction and will be published in near future.
