First Garage48 Vitebsk 2014 event winner Beatit motivating developers to code

The very first Garage48 Vitebsk 2014 intensive week-end event is successfully over. We had 8 teams working hard over the week-end to show their working prototypes tonight. Participants gathered from different countries (Estonia, Latvia, Belarus) and after long discussions in the jury panel Beatit was chosen as the winner.

Anastassia Khamenkova, co-founder of IMAGURU Hub in Minsk commented: "Vitebsk has very good talent but very few possibilities in realising them. Garage48 format initiative gives Vitebsk IT community a possibility to get connections both in Belarus but also in the region." Ragnar Sass, co-founder of Garage48 and PIpedrive added on top of that: "Cities like Vitebsk need Garage48 type of hackathon events to boost the local IT sector and motivate them to try out in startup field. We really enjoyed Vitebsk and we are looking into new regional cities in Belarus for organizing events."  Olga Holodovich, organizer of DEVVOL local Vitebsk IT community events, was glad to welcome Garage48 team in Vitebsk, especially because Garage48 Vitebsk 2014 event was held at the time of 1st anniversary of IT community events in Vitebsk.
