CLEANTECH HEROES, LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
ClimateLaunchpad program is open for entries in 26 countries and kicks off in Estonia on June 5th. The program offers tailor made mentoring for cleanteach startups and teams with an aim to turn the ideas into solid companies.
A two-day business boot camp and a series of focused coaching sessions in Estonia will prepare the participants for the country finals where they will pitch their business plan to a professional jury and a crowd of influencers. The three finalists from Estonia will enter the European Final in September in the Netherlands. The most promising entries gain access to a rock-solid Climate-KIC’s Accelerator programme, geared at growing big cleantech ideas into strong businesses with a support of up to 95 000€. In addition, the overall winner of the European final also receive a cash prize of €10,000, the runner up gets €5,000 and the idea that comes in third place wins €2,500.

We want to support these cleantech heroes on their way to scalable businesses, by offering pan-European cleantech network, advise from the best cleantech mentors and awards that let these heroes focus on their business development”, Marit Sall, Cleantech Project Manager at the Estonian Development Fund.
Start-ups, entrepreneurs, researchers and employees dreaming of starting their own business are invited to submit their cleantech ideas. All entries are judged on their impact on climate change, their growth potential and on skills and enthusiasm.
The competition is open to participants based in Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
